Dreamweaver’s Results panel (Figure 9-51 on the next page) provides several options to help maintain your site. These options are described below:
■ Search Use this option to search for and replace text, source code, and specific tags for the current document, open documents, selected files in a site, or the entire current local site.
■ Validation Use this option to locate tag or syntax errors. You can validate the current document or a selected tag.
m Target Browser Check The Target Browser Check feature checks the code in your documents to see if any of the tags, attributes, CSS properties, or CSS values are unsupported by your target browser.
■ Link Checker The Link Checker searches for broken links and unreferenced files in a portion of a local site or throughout an entire local site. External links are not checked.
Site Reports Site reports provide information on workflow or HTML attributes, including accessibility, for the current document, selected files, or the entire site. This option primarily is used by Web teams.
■ FTP Log This option keeps track of all FTP activity. If an error occurs when you are transferring a file using FTP, the site FTP log can help you determine the problem.
■ Server Debug This option is a tool to assist with server problems, and is used primarily with dynamic data.
